Luke Thomas has a diverse work experience in the tech sector. Luke is the Founder of Passionate People, a role they have held since 2017. In the same year, they also founded and organized the Frontend Love Conference, as well as organized the Vuejs Amsterdam conference. Luke currently works as a Senior Recruiter for thegiglab, where they hire JavaScript Engineers and Java Engineers for top employers in the Netherlands. Prior to this, Luke founded thefrontendlab, a Frontend Developer Recruitment Agency. Luke also worked as a Founder at thegiglab, a Digital Production Agency & Digital Agency Recruitment Consultant. Luke has a proven track record of delivering results and has worked with various reputable companies in the industry. Before transitioning to the tech sector, they served as a Recruitment Manager at Progressive Recruitment and worked as a Sales Consultant at Cheap Flights Adviser.
Luke Thomas completed their education with a BSC (Hons) degree in Business Studies from The Manchester Metropolitan University, where they studied from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended Hagley RC High School, where they pursued a degree in Business Management with a focus on Sports and Business, completing their studies from 1990 to 1998.
