Austin Payne

Austin Payne is a software engineer with experience in firmware engineering and system administration. Austin began their career in 2009 as a Two-way Radio Installer with Peak Mobile Communication, LLC., where they installed radio equipment into client vehicles and buildings, and diagnosed and repaired RF issues. In 2012, they took on the role of System Administrator, Software Developer, and Technical Sales with the same company, where they planned and built turn-key radio communication systems, and proposed and designed a custom PHP web application to monitor radio network assets. In 2016, they moved to Ubiquiti Inc. as a Firmware Engineer. Recently, they have held software engineer roles with PassiveLogic and Galileo Financial Technologies since 2020.

Austin Payne attended Salt Lake Community College from 2012 to 2014, where they received an Associate of Science (A.S.). Austin then attended the University of Utah from 2014 to 2018, where they received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
