Travis Anna Hallstrom has worked in a variety of roles since 1999. From 1999 to 2001, they were an EdTech Content Developer at Novell, where they were a team lead in a group of instructional designers, editors, and publishers responsible for publishing the education content produced by Novell Education. During this time, they were responsible for building new development process and tool chain, developing strategic operational efficiency program, project management, technical editing, technical proof-reading, and localization. From 2001 to 2002, they were a Data Scientist, where they designed and carried out a study of maternal health, childbirth, and traditional midwifery in China. From 2002 to 2015, they were the COO of Heliocentric, an innovative start-up that began in the emerging market of applied building science. As engineering manager, they led their team and used data analytics to predict, diagnose, and solve building science problems. From 2015 to present, they have been the Head of Marketing & Brand Communications at PassiveLogic, where they lead on product development and operations, and tracks the emerging market and policy forces affecting building controls and automation. Her roles include being an Agilist, using Scrum-based SDLC, Lean product and process development, Lean startup financial management, market and customer development, program development and deployment, grant writing, and strategy and resource/team management.
Travis Anna Hallstrom attended Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses in 2015 for Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations. Travis Anna also holds a Bachelor's Degree from Brigham Young University in Psychology and Women's Studies.
