Passport Surgical Partners

Passport Surgical Partners (PSP) is a novel medical tourism company that specializes in medical, surgical and dental procedures in Costa Rica and Colombia. PSP acts as a facilitator to connect patients with Joint Commission International accredited hospitals and Board-Certified/Board-Eligible surgeons and dentists to provide timely access to affordable and quality care. Currently, PSP coordinates all aspects of cosmetic dentistry, bariatric surgical services, hair restoration, gender-affirming procedures, and plastic and reconstructive surgeries, including pre- and post-op care, accommodations and transportation. PSP only works with LGBTQ+ affirming providers. PSP also partners with multiple resorts and wellness spas that offer ayahuasca ceremonies, ayurvedic medicinal practices, and detox services to enhance overall health and well-being by promoting holistic approaches to cleansing and rejuvenation. In 2025, dedicated retreats that focus on self-care, resiliency and living with loss will be offered in Costa Rica. PSP also coordinates trips to Baja that focus on interacting with whales and wildlife. Encounters with whales can evoke feelings of awe and connectedness with nature, which are linked to improved mental well-being and emotional health. The therapeutic effects of such experiences are supported by research, which highlights that nature-based activities, including marine wildlife encounters, can enhance psychological health, boost mood, and foster a sense of peace and tranquility. Alexis Chaudron and Santiago Bejarano co-founded Passport Surgical Partners in 2023 to address the barriers to healthcare and dental services for LGBTQ+ patients. Alexis' and Santiago's respective backgrounds make this an ideal partnership and the best option for destination medical travel. Alexis has been a surgical nurse since 2010 and has served in progressive surgical leadership posi Please visit our website for more detailed information and our personal LinkedIn Profiles.
