Shaina Stein

Shaina Stein has a robust background in geology and geographic information systems (GIS), having earned a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Appalachian State University in 2019, complemented by a study abroad program at Keele University. Professional experience includes serving as Team Lead, Support Services, Systems Analyst, and Support Analyst at Passport since October 2020. Prior to this, Shaina completed internships at the Union County Environmental Health Department, where tasks involved soil sampling for well and septic system suitability. Academic training included specialized GIS courses and geology-focused studies that incorporated GIS software such as ArcMap and QGIS.
