Derek Call is an experienced events and marketing professional with a diverse background in managing high-profile events and productions. Currently serving as the Events & Marketing Manager at Start Garden since July 2022, Derek also holds the position of Assistant Producer & Show Director at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America since March 2015, where responsibilities include managing key aspects of the annual Youth of the Year galas. In addition, Derek has been the Director of Operations & Production at ArtPrize since November 2014, overseeing logistics for 30 annual events. Previous roles include Festival Producer & Senior Manager of Special Events at the American Film Institute, where management of multiple departments and hiring efforts were pivotal.
