Andy Crump

Andy Crump is a seasoned freelance writer with extensive experience in film, television, and beer culture. Since October 2013, Crump has contributed to Paste Magazine with reviews, essays, and interviews. Crump's role as a contributing writer for The Playlist began in May 2016, focusing on festival films and current TV shows. Between July 2018 and February 2024, Crump covered beer festivals and provided tasting notes for Hop Culture. Previous contributions also include writing about horror for The Hollywood Reporter from August 2017 to September 2019, covering media for WBUR's The ARTery, and producing film reviews for platforms such as Birth.Movies.Death., Screen Rant, and Go, See, Talk!
