Roos van de Weerd has extensive experience in marketing, event management, and creative production, with a notable focus on sustainability and cultural initiatives. Currently serving at Patagonia since February 2016, Roos has held multiple roles including Head of Events & Experiences and Patagonia Resale Marketing. Prior experience includes Program Manager for the Wavescape Festival in South Africa, where Roos curated the cinema program, and Creative Producer at Fairphone, developing transparent storytelling tools. Additional roles include curation at the North Sea Surf Festival, workshop production at SETUP, and project management at Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising. Roos holds a Master’s degree in New Media & Digital Culture from Utrecht University and a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing & Communicatie from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
