Varun Patel

Varun Patel is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in supplier quality, manufacturing, and industrial engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Supplier Quality and Manufacturing at Patagonia since April 2019, Varun previously held significant roles at Nike, including Director of Industrial Engineering in Vietnam, where negotiation of labor and material usage rates with suppliers took place, and as an Industrial Engineering Lead, focusing on process efficiency improvement projects. Earlier career positions include Sr. Manufacturing Engineer at Welch Allyn, where Varun led technical activities for patient monitoring systems, and Manufacturing Engineer at Tektronix, directing lean transformation strategies for a high-revenue product line. Varun's professional foundation was established with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington.
