Patchogue-Medford Library
Gilda Ramos is an experienced Reference Librarian at Middle Country Public Library since September 2016, and a consultant for both Stony Brook Small Development Center and North Shore Public Library. With a background in library services, Gilda has served as a Youth Services Librarian and Library Assistant at Patchogue-Medford Library, where responsibilities included translation, interpretation, and tutoring in English and Spanish. Educational qualifications include a Master of Library & Information Science from Long Island University, a Library Assistant Technician Training from Nassau Community College, and a Bachelor's degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from Ricardo Palma University. Additionally, Gilda has provided ESOL and citizenship instruction and has been involved in community initiatives to increase census participation.

Patchogue-Medford Library
The mission of the Patchogue-Medford Library is to provide resources and opportunities to empower, educate and entertain the community. The Library is a School District Public Library serving the residents of the Patchogue-Medford School District. The District encompasses the Incorporated Village of Patchogue and the hamlets of North Patchogue, Medford and a portion of East Patchogue. The area is 15.5 square miles extending from the Great South Bay in Patchogue to Granny Road in Medford. Waverly Avenue and North Ocean Avenue form the western border of the district. The eastern border of the district extends from Roe Avenue and South Country Road in Patchogue to just east of White Pine Way in Medford.
