Margaret Walsh

Margaret Walsh is a Senior Scientist at PATCO Products since April 2024, specializing in the research, design, and development of innovative emulsifier solutions across multiple industries, including Food, Beverages, Polymers, and Personal Care, with a focus on palm sustainability in emulsifier derivatives. Previously, Margaret held the role of Senior Scientist at Corbion from October 2010 to April 2024, where the development of ingredient solutions for the food industry and analytical methods for emulsifier properties were key responsibilities. Earlier experience includes positions as Scientist II at Caravan Ingredients, where emulsifier synthesis and analytical methods were developed; Chemist at American Ingredients Co, focusing on new emulsifier synthesis; and Chemistry Technician at Kent State University and the Liquid Crystal Institute, contributing to academic and small business collaborations. Margaret earned a BA in Chemistry and Humanities from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1995.
