Jim Baron

Although Fr. Baron was born in Florida, he was raised in Colorado and therefore became more partial to the mountains than the ocean. Growing up Catholic, he was initially open to the idea of being a priest at a young age. However, this idea took a back seat as sports, academics, and dating became his focus through high school. Plans for college changed after a weekend visit to a seminary at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, that he would attend the following year. After completing his degree in philosophy Fr. Baron then went to the North American College in Rome, earning a licentiate degree in Marriage and Family Life from the John Paul II Institute.
