Dr. Rodney Henderson

Dr. Rodney Henderson currently serves as the Deputy Superintendent for Paterson Public Schools in New Jersey, a position held since December 2023. Prior to this role, Dr. Henderson was the Instructional Leadership Executive Director at Baltimore City Public Schools from December 2021 to February 2024. Dr. Henderson's experience also includes serving as a Principal Leadership Coach and School Leadership Coach at Prince George's County Public Schools from July 2016 to October 2021. Dr. Henderson earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Howard University and has a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from McDaniel College, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Penn State University. Dr. Henderson also completed the AASA/Howard University Urban Superintendents Academy in 2021.
