James Geria

James Geria is an accomplished professional with over seven years of specialized experience in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems for large-scale international health programs, managing projects with average budgets of $10 million per year. Currently serving as the Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Adaptation for the USAID Uganda Health Systems Strengthening Activity, James has also held significant positions with Abt Associates and PATH, where responsibilities included overseeing M&E frameworks, conducting evaluations, and ensuring alignment with health service objectives. With an academic background that includes a Master's degree in Population Studies and Reproductive Health from Makerere University, James demonstrates expertise in enhancing M&E capabilities among local partner organizations and collaborating with government authorities and international stakeholders.
