Olivia Velez

Olivia Velez, PhD MS MPH RN FAAN, serves as the Director of Technical Services at PATH, focusing on digital and AI/data science initiatives. With extensive leadership experience, Olivia co-chairs the Global Digital Health Network Board, where responsibilities include overseeing network operations and organizing the Global Digital Health Forum. Olivia is also a Global Health Leadership Fellow with WomenLift Health and an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland University College, teaching various health-related courses. Previous roles include Chief Digital Health Officer at IntraHealth International, Senior Health Informatics Lead at ICF, and VP of Patient Engagement at Hudson River HealthCare. Olivia holds advanced degrees in Nursing and Biomedical Informatics from Columbia University and has a foundational background in Computer Science and Management Information Systems.
