Shimeles Tsegaye

Shimeles Tsegaye is a Senior Program Officer at PATH, specializing in Integrated Maternal Child Health and Development within the Primary Health Care Program since November 2022, and previously served as a Regional Leadership, Management, and Coordination Technical Assistant. Additionally, Shimeles has been a Senior Lecturer in midwifery at Dilla University since February 2012, accumulating over ten years of higher education teaching experience and facilitating various training programs for healthcare providers. Previous roles include Assistant Lecturer at Dilla University and a position with EMwA focused on Reproductive Health. Shimeles holds a BSc in Midwifery and an MSc in Reproductive and Maternal Health from Addis Ababa University, along with an MBA obtained in 2020. Expertise includes training in BEmONC, EPI, clinical mentoring, and various aspects of maternal and child health care.
