Andong Dai

Andong Dai is a Senior Robotics Engineer at Path Robotics since May 2022. Previously, Andong worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Central Florida from August 2016 to December 2021, where they proposed a Hidden Markov Model(HMM) based control augmentation framework and designed an end effector depth estimation algorithm for a strawberry picking robot. Additionally, Andong served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the same university and worked as a Software Engineer at Northwestern Polytechnical University from September 2014 to May 2016. Andong holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, a Master's degree in Computer Science, and a Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineer Technology/Technician.
