Heather Vashaw

Heather Vashaw, MBA, PHR, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Heather Vashaw has held various positions in the field of Human Resources, starting from their role as a Human Resources Generalist at Intelligent Medical Imaging, Inc. where they provided HR services for up to 130 employees across multiple locations. Heather Vashaw has also worked as a Recruiter at Martin Memorial Health Systems and as an Employee Relations Analyst at the same organization. Heather has experience in recruitment, staffing, and providing assistance and counseling to employees. Heather Vashaw has also worked as an Employment and Benefits Manager at Oswego Hospital, where they were responsible for recruitment, retention, payroll, and benefits administration. Prior to that, they served as a Substitute Teacher and Home-bound Student Tutor at Hannibal Central School District. Currently, Heather holds the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Pathfinder Bank, where they oversee all aspects of the HR function and contributes to the strategic planning of the organization.

Heather Vashaw holds an MBA in Business/Human Resources from Liberty University, which they obtained from 2015 to 2018. Heather Vashaw also has a Master's degree in Human Resources Development and Administration from Barry University, earned from 1998 to 1999. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Management Science from the State University of New York at Oswego, completed between 1989 and 1995. In addition, they hold the certification of SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), obtained from SHRM in June 2015.
