Jan Barker

Jan Barker is the current Director at Pathfinder. Jan has a long and varied work history, including management positions in both the public and private sector.

Jan began their career in 1980 with Pathfinder, Inc., a private non-profit organization. Jan held various management positions within the company over the next 11 years, until they left to join the Federal Government in Washington DC in November 1991.

At the Federal Government, Jan quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a Management Executive in charge of coordinating support for a large segment of the agency. Jan led the first major change of the support delivery system within that agency in over 60 years. During their time with the Federal Government, Jan also spent 10 years in management roles in overseas locations.

In January 2012, Jan left the Federal Government to join KPMG US as a Federal Advisory Manager. In this role, they assisted government agencies in maximizing program effectiveness and driving toward greater efficiencies. Jan left KPMG in March 2016 to return to Pathfinder as Director.

Jan Barker has a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from Ouachita Baptist University.
