Mashiur Rahman

Mashiur Rahman possesses extensive experience in financial management and grants oversight, currently serving as the Financial Grants Manager at YouthBuild USA since June 2018. Mashiur has also held the position of Grants Manager at Pathfinder International Headquarters in Boston since March 2008, where responsibilities included managing over 200 sub-grants across multiple countries and reviewing grant proposals and budgets. Previous roles include Finance Manager at Education Development Center Inc., where Mashiur handled awards related to injury and violence prevention, and Head of Grants Management at Pathfinder International's Bangladesh office, overseeing compliance for a $10 million budget. Mashiur’s early career featured positions as an Internal Auditor with Plan International and BRAC, and as Accounts Manager at RDRS Bangladesh. Mashiur holds a Master's in Commerce and an MBA in Management from the University of Dhaka, along with Chartered Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh and an MSA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
