Gaurav Bable

Gaurav Bable is a Search Engineer at Pathfndr. Gaurav has also worked as a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Altair. Gaurav completed their Masters studies at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.

Gaurav has extensive experience working with Python Libraries OpenCV and Scikit-Image for CT-Image Reconstruction and Image Processing. Gaurav has published an algorithm for Imaging of a Rotating Object, and has developed a web integrated Java Applet (JDK 8) for Fractal Pattern determining and Computing Fractal Dimension. Gaurav has also done comparative analysis of Algorithms for CT-image reconstruction, and has conducted Fractal Dimension based Image analysis of digital CT images and MATLAB implementation of Algebraic Reconstruction Algorithm.

At Pathfndr, Gaurav has designed and implemented Data Pipelines to process semi-structured data by integrating 150 million raw records from 15+ data sources. Gaurav has also maintained and Improved reliability and performance of 10+ Pipelines, developed Flight Ranking and Route planning Algorithms and ML models, improved Prediction Model for Flight Prices resulting in 35% reduction in price differentials, worked on Recommendation Engine for destination search, created Data Crawling setup using Scrapy to feed existing Data pipelines, and developed Autocomplete API for Predictive Search based on ElasticSearch. Gaurav has also overseen Services and DB migration to Kubernetes hosted on GCP.

Gaurav Bable attended the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur from 2009 to 2014, where they earned a B.Tech and M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
