Amy Nichols

Amy Nichols has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Amy started their career as a Medical Assistant at Rocky Mountain Dermatology in 1996 and then worked as a Certified Medical Assistant at Glenwood Medical Associates from 1999 to 2002. Amy then transitioned into an administrative role as an Administrative Assistant at Denver Architectural Precast, Inc from 1998 to 1999.

In 2001, Amy joined Woods & Cain-Swope as a Certified Medical Assistant, where they provided patient care and clinical procedures while also offering training and IT support for electronic medical records.

From 2008 to 2012, they worked at PathGroup as a Manager of Integration Services, responsible for managing the integration process and ensuring client satisfaction. Following that, they joined Heritage Medical Associates, P.C. as a Senior EHR Support Analyst, where they served as the primary subject matter expert and contact point for physicians regarding CPOE and related EHR applications.

Amy returned to PathGroup in 2014 and held various roles, including Business Analyst, Director of Client Systems, and AVP of Client Applications and Analytics. Most recently, they served as the Vice President of Customer Applications and Analytics.

Amy Nichols has a diverse education history. In 1996 to 1999, they attended Colorado Mesa University, where they pursued Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse without obtaining a degree. During the same period, they also completed an Associate's degree in Science in Medical Assisting at Everest College.

In 2021, Amy enrolled at Western Governors University and is expected to complete their Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management in 2023.

Additionally, they obtained the Certified Specialist Payment & Reimbursement (CSPR) certification from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) in September 2023.
