David Miller

David Miller has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. David is currently the VP of Drug Discovery at Pathios Therapeutics, a role they have held since December 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Medicinal Chemistry at Pathios Therapeutics from January 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining Pathios Therapeutics, David worked at Inflazome Ltd as the Director of Medicinal Chemistry from January 2020 to January 2021, and before that, they were the Head of Medicinal Chemistry from November 2016 to January 2020.

From November 2013 to November 2016, David worked at Takeda Cambridge as an Associate Director. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Group Leader at Takeda Cambridge from October 2008 to October 2013.

David's earlier experience includes working as a Group Leader at Takeda Cambridge Ltd from April 2007 to September 2008. David also worked as a Group Leader at Paradigm Therapeutics Ltd from 2005 to 2007, and as a Group Leader at Amedis Pharmaceuticals from 2002 to 2005.

David began their career at Organon as a Senior Medicinal Chemist, where they worked from 1996 to 2002. Throughout their career, David has held various leadership roles and has accumulated a wealth of experience in medicinal chemistry and drug discovery.

David Miller received their BSc (hons) degree in Special Chemistry from the University of Hull, where they studied from 1986 to 1989. David further pursued their education at the same university and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Heterocyclic Chemistry from 1989 to 1992.
