Namita Mankad has over 10 years of work experience in various roles. Namita started their career in 2010 as a Technical Project Manager at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. In 2013, they co-founded Neuf Consulting and served as a Product Manager. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Program Manager at PAE and CACI International Inc. respectively. In 2018, they joined Koniag Government Services as a Senior Program Manager. In 2019, they co-founded PodTechs and served as a Product Manager. In 2021, they worked as a Product, Strategy and Operations Mentor at Pathrise and as a Product Manager at Oliver Technology Corporation. Namita is currently working as a Program Manager at Ad Hoc LLC.

Namita Mankad has obtained a Master's degree in Information Technology from Virginia Tech, a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Saurashtra University, Rajkot, and a Nano Degree in Product Management from Udacity. Namita is currently enrolled in a Fellow program in Product Management from Pathrise. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as the Profisee Master Data Architect and Profisee Master Data Steward in 2022, the Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2017, and the Certified Scrum Product Owner and Certified ScrumMaster in 2020.

Working in Enterprise Application Development, Damola has prototyped tools and powered businesses as the CTO-in-Residence at Microsoft. With 14+ years of experience and a Masters in Computer Science from Cornell University, Damola guides fellows at Pathrise through technical interview preparation and industry advice.

Damola Omotosho

Danielle is a keynote speaker and published author that brings over 15 years of experience as a brand manager for organizations like McDonald’s and American Airlines. She has provided accreditation training for hundreds of Career Coaches in the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and Professional Association of Resume Writers (PARW).

Danielle Dayries

Certified by Yale and Harvard in the art of negotiation, Shane has worked as a former Head of Sales at the American Negotiation Institute as well as volunteering at the National Suicide Hotline. He has successfully negotiated with companies such as Microsoft, Apple, and other Fortune 500's.

Now he works with Pathrise fellows to get the most out of their job offers through negotiation.

Shane Ray Martin

Cassandra has coached groups and individuals for over 7 years, helping them grow past mental obstacles in their job search and shift into an empowered mindset. On top of being a coach at Pathrise, she also runs the personal growth subscription box company, CoachCrate.

Cassandra Green

Ilana is currently a Technical Recruiter at Amazon and Recruiting Specialist at Pathrise. As a recruiter, she is able to teach fellows about how hiring works on the backend so they can avoid critical mistakes that many candidates make in their job search process.

Ilana Pinsky

Kelly Barber is the current Head of Operations at [Pathrise](/org/pathrise). Prior to that, they were with Civil Squared where they served as Assistant Director of Programs. Kelly was also with Institute for Humane Studies as On Campus Education Manager. 

Kelly has a long history of event management and program design. At Civil Squared, they were responsible for designing both in-person and online events which resulted in 4x programs and 3x subscribers in one year. Kelly also managed 30+ event sponsorships and curated curriculum with academic subject matter experts. 

At the Institute for Humane Studies, Kelly managed 40+ partnerships for a $3.2 million grant to educate 40,000 undergraduate students. Kelly also supervised 3 direct reports and trained 30 staff to run 500 events in 3 years. In addition, they partnered with university professors and other leading experts to design cross-disciplinary curriculum and facilitated dozens of invite-only Socratic seminar discussions with top scholars. Despite a 33% shortfall in their annual participation goals, Kelly achieved a 96% subscriber rate through exceptional program and survey design.

Kelly Barber

Kevin Wu is the co-founder and CEO of [Pathrise](/org/pathrise). Kevin was previously the founder and CEO of Unboard, a game studio that produced and launched the official iOS and Android mobile adaptation of a board game, as well as an original digital collectible card game. Kevin has also worked as a product manager at [Yelp](/org/yelp) and Leada, where they designed and developed a platform for online data science courses. Kevin began their career as a software engineer at [Salesforce](/org/salesforce).

Kevin Wu has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Kevin was a part of the [Y Combinator](/org/y-combinator) program in winter 2018.

Kevin Wu

Derrick Mar is the co-founder and CTO of [Pathrise](/org/pathrise). Derrick was previously a software engineer at Facebook and Gradescope. Derrick was also an instructor at [UC Berkeley](/org/uc-berkeley), teaching courses in Ruby on Rails and software engineering. Derrick Mar has a degree in electrical engineering and computer science from [UC Berkeley](/org/uc-berkeley).

Derrick Mar has a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management, General, also from [UC Berkeley](/org/uc-berkeley)'s Haas School of Business. Derrick also has a high school diploma from John A. Rowland High School.

Their manager is Kevin Wu, Co-Founder & CEO. They are on a team with and Kelly Barber - Head of Operations.

Derrick Mar

The current leadership team at Pathrise has a wide range of experience in many different industries. The team members have worked as software engineers at Facebook, instructors at UC Berkeley, assistant directors of programs at Civil Squared, and marketing and communications managers at Students For Liberty. They have also interned at the James Madison Institute and worked in product development at Yelp and Salesforce. The team's founder and CEO, Unboard, has a background in computer science from UC Berkeley and business administration from the Haas School of Business.
