Javier E. Zapata

Javier E. Zapata is the President and Executive Director of PathStone Enterprise Center, Inc. (PECI), where they lead operations in New York and Puerto Rico with a focus on strategic planning and financial management. They have over 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector, with a strong background in economic development, fundraising, and team leadership. Previously, Javier held various roles, including Director at the Corporation for Public Management and Deputy Director for Economic Development at PathStone Corporation. They are fluent in English and Spanish and hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez, as well as a certification as an Economic Development Finance Professional.
