Eleanor Vincent

Eleanor Vincent works closely with the President and Chief Executive Officer to manage the agency operations including agency reporting and outcomes, strategic planning, quality control, community partnerships, accreditation, technology planning and risk management. In this role, Dr. Vincent has been instrumental in building a robust outcome framework and implementing technology upgrades including Credible Electronic Health Records software that have resulted in greater efficiencies for the agency and more concise consumer outcomes resulting in improvements to consumers' quality of care. 2 Dr. Vincent has worked in the mental health field for over 20 years. She has a background in Psychiatric Nursing, having worked in a variety of hospital and community settings within the National Health Service in England for several years. Since then, she has worked in residential mental health settings in Massachusetts and Virginia as Program Director for a variety of group homes and supported housing programs.

Dr. Vincent also spent two years working for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration in mental health public awareness and education. She is a surveyor for the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and is an ex-President of the Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute Advisory Council and an ex-member of the City of Gaithersburg Communications Committee. Eleanor holds a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University, Washington DC and she is a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor in the State of Virginia.
