Jennifer R. Kanarek

Jennifer Rubenstein Kanarek, MSW, currently serves as the Social Innovation Manager at the AARP Foundation since April 2022. Previously, Jennifer held the position of Director Of Development at Camp Judaea, Inc., leading various fundraising activities, including a $5.7 million capital campaign. As Managing Director for NV Rides, Jennifer oversaw more than $1.5 million in grant funding to enhance transportation access for seniors and adults with disabilities. Jennifer's experience also includes roles as Community Engagement Coordinator at the Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia and Program Manager for Catholic Charities of East Tennessee. Jennifer holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Florida.
