Alyssa Smith is an experienced professional in the field of support for individuals with special needs and communications. Currently serving as a Respite Worker at PathWays of Southwestern Pennsylvania since September 2019, Alyssa provides essential aid to clients with autism, offering companionship, emotional support, and assistance with daily activities. Prior to this, Alyssa was a Social Media and Communications Intern at the Autism Society of Pittsburgh from May to August 2019, where responsibilities included managing social media accounts, writing articles, and enhancing organizational processes for events. Alyssa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with a focus on Converged Journalism and Anthropology from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, earned in 2020.
