Monica Matthews

Monica Matthews has extensive experience in direct support and care for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. Since December 2018, Monica has served as a Direct Support Professional at PathWays of Southwestern Pennsylvania and GENE COOK SUPPORTS, LLC, where responsibilities include providing individualized care. Prior to these roles, Monica worked at Achieva from January 2017 to December 2018, also as a Direct Support Professional, and gained experience in food service at UPMC from December 2012 to January 2015, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents. Early career experience includes various positions at the YMCA of the USA, facilitating childcare and planning events. Monica holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from LaRoche University and an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the Community College of Allegheny County.
