Janine GRAY has extensive experience in communications and engagement, currently serving as the Principal Advisor at OSPRI since January 2021. Prior to their role at OSPRI, Janine held the position of Senior Communications Adviser (Internal) at the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade from October 2017 to January 2021 and served as Senior Communications Advisor (Multimedia) at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment from June 2014 to October 2017. With a background that includes roles such as Senior Communications Advisor at the Ministry of Pacific Island Affairs, Multimedia Coordinator at the Australian Red Cross, and Communications and Media Coordinator at the Victorian Institute of Sport, Janine has consistently managed diverse communications strategies and projects. Janine's early career also includes editorial work for North East Newspapers and a role as Journalist/Public Awareness Specialist at the Department of Conservation. Academic qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from Canterbury University and a BA Hons in English and History from the University of Ottawa.
