Pathways to Independence
Gina Johar serves as the Vice President and Chief Digital Officer, as well as the Chief Privacy Officer at Quinte Health. In addition, Gina holds the position of Executive Board Member at Pathways to Independence and works as a Sessional Lecturer at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. Gina also teaches as a part-time Professor in Health Administration & Health Information Management at St. Lawrence College and previously held the role of Chief Information Officer at Brockville General Hospital. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Experimental Medicine and Biocomputing at Queen's University, Gina also possesses a Bachelor of Science with honors in Statistics from Western University.

Pathways to Independence is a community based, not-for-profit agency providing assisted community living services and supports to people with an acquired brain injury (ABI) or a developmental disability who may also have complex needs based on their unique goals, abilities, and choices. We promote independent, active lifestyles so the people we support can live their best life in their community. We support people to be as independent as possible based on their goals and choices.
