EVP Health Equity And Community Engagement at Patient Advocate Foundation

Shonta Chambers has extensive experience in the public health sector. Shonta is currently the Executive Vice President-Health Equity and Community Engagement for the Patient Advocate Foundation, where they develop strategies to address health equity for individuals with chronic, life-threatening, and debilitating diseases. Prior to this, Shonta held various roles at the Georgia Department of Public Health, including Deputy Director Administration and Finance, Director-Office of Prevention and Wellness, and Director of the Prevention and Management Unit. Shonta also worked as a Program Manager for the Cardiovascular Health Initiative at the Georgia Department of Human Resources and as a Health Planner at the Georgia Department of Community Health.

Shonta Chambers completed their Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Talladega College, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan between 1995 and 1996.
