Dave Piller

Dave Piller has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Dave began their career in 1990 as a Writer-Editor at Great American Broadcasting. Later, they worked as a Technical Writer at Ethicon Endo-Surgery, where they managed the labeling process for various surgical instruments. From 2000 to 2002, they served as a Web Content Coordinator at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, focusing on clinical content and patient education. Dave then worked as a Senior Clinical Research Associate at Ethicon Endo-Surgery from 2002 to 2004. From 2004 to 2005, they were a Medical Writer (contract) at Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals. Dave joined Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center again in 2005 as a Writer in Research and Marketing Communications. In 2009, they transitioned to WellPoint as a Senior Marketing Coordinator before becoming a Communications Manager at Express Scripts. Currently, they are a Freelance Writer and Editor, and since 2014, they have also been working as a Medical/Marketing Writer at PatientPoint.

Dave Piller attended the University of Cincinnati from 1984 to 1989, where they studied English with a focus on Professional Writing. Dave earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in this field.
