Phil Martins

Phil Martins has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Phil started their career in 1995 as a Lead Software Engineer at MTD Technologies, where they designed and developed CNC programs for machining cells using CATIA V5 or V6. Phil then worked as a Lead Business Analyst/Project Manager at Planning Technology, Inc from 2000 to 2006, where they managed and developed an airport web application. From 2007 to 2011, Phil served as the Lead Engineer of Radiology Information Systems at SDI Diagnostic Imaging/Stratus Healthcare, where they designed and developed RIS and managed the Tele-Radiology system. Phil then joined PatientSafe Solutions in 2011 as a Sr Integration Engineer/Project Manager of Healthcare Integrations, leading a team of integration engineers and standing up interfaces for hospitals. In 2016, Phil worked as an Integration Engineer at MediSked, LLC, designing and delivering interfaces for a healthcare information exchange for the mentally disabled. Currently, Phil is the Director of Integration at OnePacs LLC, responsible for client relationships and building connections between tele-radiology and hospital EMRs. Phil is an expert in HL7, integration engines, EMRs, and healthcare workflows.

Phil Martins attended Indiana University from 2002 to 2003, where they pursued a pre-bachelor degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services. Prior to that, they studied at Fanshawe College from 1992 to 1996, majoring in Information Technologies. In addition to their formal education, Phil Martins has obtained several certifications related to virtual team management. In February 2021, they completed the certifications "Establishing Effective Virtual Teams," "Expert Insights on Managing Virtual Teams," and "Facing Virtual Team Challenges" from St. Petersburg College.
