Melody Shariff, SHRM-CP, DPT

Melody Shariff, SHRM-CP, DPT, has a diverse work experience. Melody began their career in 2018 as a Physical Therapist at California Pacific Medical Center and held this role until February 2022. In January 2022, they joined Finch, a company focused on creating standardized and interconnected data systems for payroll and HR. Melody played a crucial role as the first People Operations professional at Finch, bringing their expertise in HR and data management. Melody worked there until July 2022. In February 2023, Melody joined PatientWing as a People Operations Associate.

Melody Shariff, SHRM-CP, DPT, completed their Bachelor's degree in Physiology and Neuroscience at the University of California, San Diego, from 2009 to 2013. Following that, they pursued a Graduate program at Samuel Merritt University from 2014 to 2017, earning a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. In terms of additional certifications, they attained the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation from the Society of Human Resource Management in January 2023. Melody also obtained various certifications related to managing employee compensation, performance, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and preparing to manage human resources from Coursera throughout 2022.
