Wenhui Yao

Wenhui Yao is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in Android development. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Patreon since January 2023, Wenhui is involved in building the new Patreon Android app utilizing Jetpack Compose. Prior to this, Wenhui worked at Meta as a Software Engineer from July 2019 to November 2022, where key contributions included leading Android technical efforts for Instagram Boards and the Threads App. With previous roles at Trulia, including Staff Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, Wenhui focused on enhancing the Android app's architecture and performance, implementing Material Design, and ensuring codebase scalability. Earlier experience includes work at Zoodles as both a Software Engineer and an intern, contributing to the development of the Kid Mode application. Wenhui holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from San Francisco State University.
