Rich Thomas began their work experience in 2005 as an Aircraft Inspector at L-3 vertex, where they maintained various aircrafts for an FBI aviation contract and also played a role in setting up a new maintenance facility. In 2009, they joined First in Flight, Inc. as Chief Inspector and held that position until 2012. In 2013, they became the Director of Maintenance at Patriarch Partners, where they currently work.
Rich Thomas completed their education in the field of aviation. From 2008 to 2015, they attended Thomas Edison State University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Aviation Flight Technology. During the same period, they also earned another Bachelor's degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology from the same university. In addition, from 2008 to 2016, Rich attended Ocean County College and graduated with an Associate's degree in Industrial Mechanics and Maintenance Technology.
Along with their formal education, Rich also obtained certifications related to their field. In November 2008, they received certifications in A&P/IA, ATP-M, ATP-H, and SEL COMM from the Federal Aviation Administration. Later, in December 2016, they became a G280 Master Technician through FlightSafety International.
