Mike Jackson

Mike Jackson is an experienced academic and epidemiologist currently serving as an Associate Professor of Biology at Patrick Henry College since August 2023. Jackson has a diverse background in epidemiology, with roles as a freelance epidemiologist at EpiAssist, LLC since October 2021, and previously as an Epidemiologist at Atropos Health from September 2022 to February 2024. Jackson's career includes significant positions at AllStripes as a Senior Epidemiologist, and various roles at Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute, ranging from Assistant to Senior Scientific Investigator over an eleven-year span. Earlier experience includes serving as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and completing a post-doctoral fellowship at Group Health Research Institute. Jackson holds a Ph.D. and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Cornell University.
