Olivia Schmidt

Olivia Schmidt is an experienced professional in student recruitment and talent acquisition, currently serving as the Student Talent Acquisition Manager at Patrick Henry College since January 2015. In this role, Olivia has successfully developed and managed 95 annual events and executed a comprehensive email marketing strategy with 77 digital media touchpoints. Previously, as an Admissions Counselor, Olivia ranked as the top recruiter in three out of the last four years, achieving a 33% increase in enrollment between 2016 and 2017. Olivia's earlier experience includes being a Resident Assistant, where interpersonal communication skills were honed, and serving as the Campus Visits Coordinator, optimizing the largest recruiting event and enhancing the Student Ambassador program. Additionally, Olivia contributed to Patrick Henry College Teen Leadership Camps as the Head Female Counselor and gained teaching experience at Providence Christian Academy as a Student Teacher in mathematics and music. Olivia holds a degree in Classical Liberal Arts from Patrick Henry College and previously attended Modesto Junior College.
