Courtney Kratz (Schmitt)

Courtney Kratz (Schmitt) has a diverse work experience in graphic design and creative promotions. Courtney started their career at Academy Sports + Outdoors as a Layout/Graphic Designer, where they created various print materials and received recognition for their strong conception and delivery. Courtney then worked at the Republic National Distributing Company as an On Premise Graphic Designer, designing menus and print materials for bars/night clubs and managing graphic work for the spirits and Red Bull department. Courtney also worked at RPS Group as a Graphic Designer, providing document edit and design for clients, and at Republic National Distributing Company as an On Premise Sales Representative, developing feature programs for bars/night clubs and supporting client partnerships. Courtney has been self-employed as a Freelance Graphic Designer since 2005, producing design work through referral-based jobs. Currently, they are working as an Assistant Art Director at Patrick Henry Creative Promotions Inc, where they are involved in conceptualizing and designing print materials, logo branding, and participating in brainstorms and project supervision. Courtney has received numerous awards for their work, including the Addys, Daveys, and MarCom, as well as internal accolades such as Newcomer of the Year 2010 and Designer of the Year 2012.

Courtney Kratz (Schmitt) pursued their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Design and Visual Communications, General from Texas Tech University. Courtney attended the university from 1999 to 2003.
