Keith Deirup

Keith Deirup has had a varied career in the maritime industry. Keith began their work experience in 2004 as a Marine Engineer at MEBA Dist 1-PCD (AFL-CIO) where they worked until 2012. Then, they joined OSG Ship Management as a First Assistant Engineer/Chief Engineer and remained there until 2014. In 2012, they also worked at Foss Maritime Company as a Chief Engineer. From 2014 to 2015, Keith worked as a Ship Repair Estimator at Mare Island Dry Dock, LLC. Keith'sresponsibilities included preparing price proposals and obtaining quotes from subcontractors. In 2015, they moved to APL as a Port Engineer before joining American Ship Management LLC in the same role in 2016. Currently, they are working as a Port Engineer at Patriot Contract Services, LLC.

Keith Deirup earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University Maritime Academy, attending from 2000 to 2004. Keith also obtained a Chief Engineer Motors Unlimited HP certification from the U.S. Coast Guard in March 2012.
