Florent Montel

Florent Montel has a diverse work experience in the cybersecurity industry. Florent is currently a Co-Founder at Patrowl.io, where they have developed an innovative product that automates the detection and remediation of vulnerabilities. Prior to this role, they co-founded GreenLock Advisory, assisting in providing advisory services. Florent also worked at Almond as a Manager of Offensive Security. At NetXP, they were initially a Junior Network and Security Consultant before becoming a Security Consultant and later a Pentester, where they were responsible for leading a team of 8 and performing various audits and red teaming exercises. Florent's early work experience includes a role as a Junior Developer at CPIT, where they focused on Java EE development and web application development.

Florent Montel completed their education in a chronological order. From 2008 to 2010, they attended La Martinière Monplaisir, where they pursued a Classe Préparatoire aux Grandes Écoles in the Session MP field of study. Following this, from 2010 to 2013, they studied at Télécom SudParis and obtained a Diplôme Ingénieur in the field of Sécurité des Systèmes et des Réseaux.

In addition to their formal education, Florent Montel obtained several certifications. In November 2013, they were awarded the Expert en Sécurité des Systèmes d’Information (ESSI) certification from ANSSI - Agence nationale de la sécurité des systèmes d'information. In January 2015, they obtained the GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN) certification from GIAC. Lastly, in February 2017, they earned the GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN) certification, also from GIAC Certifications.
