Director of Safety, Health, and Training / Pilot at Patten Seed Co

Nathan Tart has a long and varied work experience. Nathan began their career in 1998 as an Instructor Aircraft Commander C-130/Chief of Safety/Director of Staff - 36th Airlift Squadron in the United States Air Force. In this role, they trained 33 squadron aircraft commanders and pilots in all aspects of the combat air mobility mission, and was responsible for preserving the lives of more than 160 aircrew and operations support personnel and over $385M of critical AF assets. Nathan then served as Squadron Executive Officer/Student Pilot, 479th Training Support Squadron and Instructor Navigator C-130H/Chief of Mobility, 39th Airlift Squadron, where they instructed 28 combat-ready aircrews on mission, flight and fuel planning, and taught tactics and counter threat techniques to protect single-ship and formation airlift missions. In 2006, they joined the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) as Government Flight Representative, leading teams in supervising contractors and assuming risk on U. S. government’s behalf for DoD, NATO and foreign government aircraft with assets valued over $850M annually. In 2008, they were promoted to Director of Flight Operations, directing and executing command policies, contractor and government flight and ground operations for all Europe, Africa, Middle East and Southwest Asia. In 2015, they joined CACI International Inc as a Pilot. In 2016, they began working at Momentum Aerospace Group (MAG) as a Pilot, and at the same time they became the Director of Safety, Health, and Training / Pilot at Patten Seed Company/Super-Sod.

Nathan Tart obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Behavioral Sciences/Ergonomics from the United States Air Force Academy in 1995. Nathan then went on to earn a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Oklahoma in 2008. In 2013, they received an Industrial Safety and Health Certificate from the Georgia Institute of Technology. In June 2019, they obtained a certification in Avoiding Phishing Scams from LinkedIn.
