Martin Schroedter

Martin Schroedter has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Martin currently works as a DevOps Engineer at Pattern Computer since September 2021, where they designed and implemented logging and configuration infrastructure and developed a web log-viewer.

Prior to that, Martin worked at the Allen Institute from 2015 to 2021. During this time, they served as a DevOps Engineer and was responsible for developing web applications for software configuration and managing environmental sensors. Additionally, they previously worked as a Systems Design Engineer at the same company.

Martin also has experience as an Associate Faculty at Everett Community College from 2013 to 2015 and Bastyr University from 2013 to 2014, where they taught various subjects.

In the field of physics and astrophysics, Martin has worked as a Physicist at the Smithsonian Institution from 2010 to 2012, where they conducted astrophysical data analysis and simulations. Martin also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Iowa State University from 2004 to 2010, where they developed data analysis tools and collaborated on projects with Argonne National Lab.

During their early career, Martin worked as a Graduate Research Associate at The University of Arizona from 1998 to 2004. Martin'swork in gamma-ray astronomy involved developing image analysis software, conducting simulations, and contributing to telescope alignment methods.

Martin Schroedter received a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Physics from the University of Arizona, which they pursued from 1998 to 2001. Subsequently, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics at the same university, completing their studies from 2001 to 2004.
