Lane Jones has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. They started their career as an intern at the Chinese Thinkers Bureau in 2017. In 2019, Lane joined Epic as an Implementation Specialist, where they worked until September 2020. In 2021, they transitioned to Everlaw as a Customer Support Specialist I and later became a Customer Support Specialist II in January 2022. Currently, Lane is employed at Pattern Data as a Client Experience Manager, starting in November 2022.

Lane Jones attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies and Mandarin. During their time at UNC-Chapel Hill, Lane also studied Mandarin at Capital Normal University in 2017. Furthermore, Lane has obtained multiple certifications, including Epic Nurse Triage, Epic Order Transmittal, Epic Care Everywhere, Epic Emergency Department Administration (ASAP), EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation, and EpicCare Inpatient Procedure Orders.
