Ryan Pierce

Ryan Pierce has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Ryan started their career in the US Navy, where they served in various roles including Executive Assistant, Operations Planner, and Assistant Department Head. In 2010, they transitioned to the renewable energy sector and joined SunEdison. During their time there, they held multiple positions such as Assistant Operations Manager, Operations Manager, Regional Operations Manager for Hawaii, and Regional Operations Manager for the Western United States and Canada. In these roles, they were responsible for managing the operations and maintenance of wind and solar projects, including utility-scale facilities and rooftop solar sites. Ryan also oversaw the maintenance of a battery energy storage system integrated with a wind project in Maui. In 2016, Ryan joined Pattern Energy Group as the Senior Director of Field Operations, where they had oversight of all field operations in the West Region, including both US and Canadian assets. Recently, they have been serving as the Vice President of Field Operations.

Ryan Pierce completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Marine Systems Engineering from Maine Maritime Academy, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. Ryan then pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Naval Postgraduate School, graduating in 2004.
