Leighanne Jarvis

Leighanne Jarvis has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Leighanne currently works as a Product Manager at Pattern Health since April 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Duke Design Health Fellow at Duke University Pratt School of Engineering from August 2020 to May 2021.

Earlier in their career, Jarvis held multiple roles at Duke University from 2016 to 2021, including Research and Development Engineer II and Research and Development Engineer I. In these positions, they focused on developing platforms for ICT access for people with disabilities, conducted research and development work for aging populations, and supported the Duke Assistive Technology Clinic as a Rehabilitation Engineer. Leighanne also mentored undergraduate engineering students during various design courses.

Before joining Duke University, Jarvis worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at NC State University from October 2013 to May 2016. Leighanne also gained experience as an Applications Engineer - Intern at National Instruments from May 2015 to August 2015.

Leighanne Jarvis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from North Carolina State University, where they attended from 2012 to 2016. Focused on their academic pursuits, they later pursued a Master's in Engineering with a specialization in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University from 2019 to 2021.
