Alex Bates

Alex Bates is an experienced sales professional with a strong background in eCommerce and technology. Currently serving as the Director of Sales for the UK, France, Spain, and Italy at Pattern® since January 2022, Alex drives eCommerce acceleration for premium brands through marketplace analytics and brand management. Previous roles include Head of Partnerships at THG Ingenuity, where the focus was on enhancing growth for ambitious brands, and Sales Director at Kenshoo, where Alex specialized in digital advertising solutions across major platforms. Alex also held positions at Geckoboard as a Sales Development Representative and completed a Global Markets internship at Citi. Academic credentials include a BA (Hons) in Japanese from the University of Oxford and participation in the Kobe-Oxford Japanese Studies Programme at Kobe University.
