Khayyam Jones

Khayyam Jones has extensive work experience as a senior software engineer and developer. Khayyam currently holds a position at Pattern as a Senior Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Software Technology Group, providing consulting services and expertise in front-end single page applications. Khayyam also conducted technical interviews and assessments for potential programming consultants. Khayyam has also worked at Tecuity, Inc and RMS as a Senior Software Engineer. Khayyam has demonstrated their skills at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where they led a team in the development of a new online web app using React, NextJS, GraphQL, HTML5, and CSS. Khayyam was also a web developer at The Salt Lake Tribune, responsible for implementing designs directly from Photoshop. Additionally, Khayyam worked as a Senior Software Developer at Briostack and Brigham Young University, where they led teams in developing mobile and web apps using Angular, Ionic, and other technologies. Prior to that, they gained experience at Young Living Essential Oils as a Team Lead, contributing to the development of new chat/email platforms and creating reporting and tracking programs. Before their software career, Khayyam worked as an Independent Business Developer and Investing Realtor at Strongbrook Direct, where they built and maintained websites, conducted social media marketing, and assisted clients in real estate investment.

Khayyam Jones has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Brigham Young University, which they obtained between 1990 and 1998. Khayyam later pursued a Master of Arts degree in Dance from Brigham Young University, completing it from 1998 to 2002. In 2017, Khayyam attended DevMountain and earned a badge in Web Development. In terms of certifications, they obtained a certification in JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures from freeCodeCamp in June 2021, and a certification in Javascript Web Development from DevMountain in April 2017.
