Vice President Marketing Corporate Communications at Patterson Companies

Bria Townshend has extensive experience in corporate communications and marketing, with a focus on strategic messaging and employee engagement. Bria is currently serving as the Vice President of Marketing Corporate Communications at Patterson Companies, Inc., a role they have held since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Corporate Marketing & Communications Director at the same company from January 2018 to December 2022.

Before joining Patterson Companies, Inc., Bria worked as a Communications Consultant at True Talent Group from August 2017 to January 2018. Bria provided communications leadership, created compelling stories, and developed strategic messaging for both internal and external audiences. Bria also supported various B2B and B2C companies with brand reputation, employee recognition, and point of purchase positioning.

From February 2016 to March 2017, Bria served as the Internal Communications Manager and Internal Event Services Manager at Jack Link's Beef Jerky. In this role, they coached executives on internal storytelling to engage employees, resulting in increased employee engagement and cost savings. Bria also crafted and communicated internal events to drive employee retention and recognition.

Prior to Jack Link's Beef Jerky, Bria worked at Minco for over a decade from November 2004 to February 2016. Bria'sroles at Minco included Corporate Communications Manager, Event Marketing Manager, and Employee Engagement Manager. Bria was responsible for managing corporate communications, event marketing, and employee engagement initiatives.

Before their time at Minco, Bria worked as a Project Manager at MotivAction from 2002 to 2004. Bria also held roles as an Event Marketer and Video Producer at BT Productions from 1997 to 2004, as well as a Regional Manager at Passage Events & Promotions from 2001 to 2002. Bria began their career as a Freelance Production Manager at Jack Morton Worldwide from 1999 to 2001.

Throughout their career, Bria has demonstrated a strong ability to drive employee engagement, develop strategic messaging, and create compelling stories for both internal and external audiences. Bria'sexpertise in corporate communications and marketing make their a valuable asset to any organization.

Bria Townshend has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism/Communications from Pacific Lutheran University. Bria also has a certification in Festival & Event Management from the University of Minnesota.
